Here's How My Portfolio Looked Like in April
Here is how my personal portfolio performed in the month of April.
April has been a quiet month, surprisingly calm.
March and the previous months saw immense stress and panic in the market. Not only the market but also my portfolio felt this stress and panic.
April was a more relaxed month, and my portfolio was not as volatile as it was in the previous months. This calmness that my portfolio experienced was somewhat odd. I was used to the continued bad news and volatility, which suddenly stopped. Maybe I got used to it, was blinded, or willingly ignored the noise around me and focused on what mattered. The latter was what actually happened here.
I’ve gotten used to the continuous feed of pessimism, bad news, the implementation of awful policies, and failed discussions on tariffs in the U.S.A. Lately, I’ve concluded that actively ignoring most news and social media posts gives me this immense relaxed feeling. I can get used to this since it has boosted my productivity, emotional stability, and overall happiness.
If you want a more relaxed environment, start doing the same.
How Did The Portfolio Perform In April?
I honestly didn’t know how my portfolio performed in April until I started writing this update.
This shows how distant I’ve been from my portfolio, haha. I know I own the best companies in the world, and they’ll do the heavy lifting for me. So, why would I bother checking the portfolio to see if I am up or down for the day?
Nevertheless, here’s how my portfolio has performed in April.
